METAFORM WS-957 is a high-performance, water-miscible stamping and forming lubricant developed for demanding sheet-metal forming, stamping, drawing and pressing operations. It is formulated using highly refined mineral oil, a balanced emulsifier system, extreme-pressure and lubricity additives, corrosion inhibitors and selected performance additives. When mixed with water, METAFORM WS-957 forms a stable, milky emulsion with excellent lubricity and a low tendency to foam. The product is designed to provide a strong lubricating film between the workpiece and tooling, thereby reducing friction, scoring, die wear and component rejection during metal-forming operations. METAFORM WS-957 is suitable for use on a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and selected copper alloys, subject to process compatibility testing.
